Medical Bill Payment

Here is a hint that could save you thousands of dollars on your medical bills. If you can’t pay the bill, hospitals and medical providers will set up a payment plan.

However, if you charge your medical bills or transfer them to another loan, you could find yourself in serios financial troubles. This is important to know. You see, once you charge the amount on a credit card or get a loan for them you are on your own.

If you get a home equity loan you could lose your house. Hence, the consequences can be brutal. The worst that will happen if you don’t make your payments to the hospital as agreed is they will send your account to a collection agency.

A collection will bug you to collect on the bill but you won’t lose your home or be tossed in jail. The truth is all you have to do is keep making your payment to the providers.

If you end up in tough times because you lost your job or your employer cut back your hours, you can also always negotiate with the hospital or medical providers to lower your bill. This doesn’t mean it will get lowered but it is better than the above alternatives.
